As an Introvert and Highly Sensitive Person, I understand the struggles of balancing self-care while supporting others. I want to help you reduce overwhelm and honor your Strengths as a Sensitive Therapist so you can feel fulfilled in your work again.
Let’s talk about the importance of Self-Care for Highly Sensitive Therapists (HSTs).
If you’re like me, you probably have struggled with exhaustion and overwhelm even when seeing fewer clients than your non-HST colleagues.
Although we have many gifts as Sensitive Therapists, being more perceptive and empathetic can be really depleting if we’re not balancing our clinical work with regular self-care.
It’s common for HSTs to struggle to slow down or to feel guilty when prioritizing ourselves, leaving us at risk for burnout, compassion fatigue, health issues, and more.
In order for our work as therapists to be sustainable and for us to thrive, self-care is essential!
This inspired me to organize a free Self-Care Series where we can support each other to begin practicing self-care on a daily basis.
In the Sensitive Therapist Self-Care Series, we’ll be diving into:
Creative ways we can take care of ourselves as Sensitive Therapists.
Why Self-Care is more important for us than our non-HST colleagues.
What the most common obstacles are to practicing self-care and how to shift our priority back to ourselves.
This week-long series will consist of:
Informative Videos
Self-Care Prompts
Fun Extras like Self-Care Bingo
Accountability and Community Support
Emails, Facebook Group and Zoom Gatherings
You get to choose how and where you want to dive in, depending on your needs and schedule.
